No, we don’t need a Heartworm test, just shots. Max is rarely outside and we don’t think he’ll catch it/I don’t believe in Heartworm Disease.
I understand that Max doesn’t go out often, but Heartworm Disease is found in all 50 states & it only takes one bite from an infected mosquito for a dog to become infected. Even if Max doesn’t go outside, I know that I’ve had a mosquito get into my house before.
