When choosing an image what are things to think about?
Think about different ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation, genders, ages, religions of the audience.
Why is proper equity important in Visual Imagery?
Equity is needed in imagery because it makes sure no one is felt left out because of their background and personal history.

Is it appropriate to edit an image for an article using Color enhancement, cropping ,and making brightness adjustments?
Yes it's okay to crop images or color enhance only if the image is kept in context and doesn’t change the physical appearance of the image.
Key points of an acceptable use of visual imagery
Is inclusive of all people of all different backgrounds or ethnicities
Uses an image in its original context
Using an image that is respectful of others and the opinions they may have
Using an image that is not altered in any major ways that changes physical appearance of something or someone

Yes this image represents the president of the United States and isn’t offensive or non inclusive to any groups of people.
If you were choosing a photographer to take pictures of an Amish Mennonite community with their consent for a book would it be better to hire Photographer (A) who is a 31 year old man from New Jersey raised in our Culture. Or Photographer (B) which is also 31 but from Pennsylvania who was raised Amish but has since left the Order.
Photographer B would be the better choice due to his Amish background and familiarity with the subject while someone from New Jersey would not likely be aware of Amish customs and practices.
