Used to describe an incline that is, for example, greater that 15%, such as the side of a mountain. If a mountain is considered this, it is difficult to climb.

To close or shut down something. You do this to the lights when you go to sleep.

To remove or erase text when typing on a computer.
What is to delete? or What is deleting?
A software system that is designed to carry out a web search. The three most common of these are Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
What is a search engine?
A newspaper that typically has large headlines and a lot of pictures and usually covers sensational news.
What is a tabloid?
Used to describe something that is potentially dangerous. For example, this could be used to describe going on a backpacking through the mountains alone.
What is risky?
When something stops working. For example, this could happen to an old computer or a car.
What is to break down? or What is breaking down?
Used to describe a technology that is old, inefficient or no longer useful, such as black and white television or landline phones.
What is out of date?
This happens when an application, website or computer quits or turns off unexpectedly. It is caused by an error in the operating system software.
What is crashing?
A media event in which a news source invites journalists and reporters and allows them to ask questions
What is a press conference?
Staying alive through a traumatic or life-threatening event.
What is surviving?
To become popular. This can happen with new technology.
What is catching on? or What is to catch on?
Used to describe a technology that is easy to use.
What is user friendly?
Used to describe the latest software or gadget. An example of this is iOS 13.2 for the new iPhone 11.
What is up-to-date?
The creation, printing and distribution of books, journals or other written material for sale.
What is publishing?
An adjective used to describe something that is extremely beautiful or surprising such as a view from the top of a mountain.
What is breathtaking?
To have a new idea, such as the design for a computer or a concept for an app.
What is to come up with? or What is coming up with?
An example of this technology is a cell phone and an example of the OPPOSITE of this technology is a landline telephone.
What is wireless technology?
The designing, creation and writing of software code.
What is developing?
When the media is produced and disseminated in real time, as events happen. CNN was the first television show to do this 24/7
What is live broadcasting?

To enter a place illegally. This happens when a burglar enters a house to steal household items or when a hacker gets into a computer to steal information.
