What program does Blue Ridge Literacy offer to provide English literacy services to American-born adults?
What is 1:1 Tutoring Program?
Takes place Mondays and Fridays in-person or online from 10:00 - 12:00 or 6:00 - 7:30 to prepare learners to become US Citizens
What is the Citizenship Preparation Program?
The many people allow BRL serve over 300 learners per year by devoting their time and skills to tutoring, instructing online and in-person classes, joining fundraising events, and so much more!

The reading, writing, and communication skills adults need to navigate everyday interactions and make long-term plans.
What is functional literacy?
The skills for which ESOL learners seek services.
What is Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening?
May have not received support with a diagnosed/undiagnosed learning disability. May come from low-income neighborhoods or schools. May have had parents who struggled with literacy and could not support their learning.
What leads an American-born individual to seek literacy services as an adult?
Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM to learn basic computer skills using the Nationally Accredited NorthStar curriculum
