What is the process for voting on amendments to a resolution?
1. read the most disruptive amendment to the resolution (at the chair's discretion)
2. Vote on the amendment
3. repeat these steps for all other amendments
4. read the resolution amended
5. vote on the resolution
What is the process for dividing the question in a resolution?
1. votes aren't procedural & delegates can abstain
2. delegates have to vote on each divided section
3. repeat for all divided sections
4. chair must read all the approved sections together and the committee must vote one last time on the sections together; if the vote is approved, the resolution passes
