If you get a ride to school, where should the car drop you off?

Parent drop off & pick up is not allowed at Door 10 before or after school. Parents should pick up on 49th St. There is ONE 5-minute parking spot designated for pick up during the school day if a student has to leave early or come late.

The WHS Tip Line is a Google Form you can submit if there is a concern regarding a student's wellness or school safety - mental health, chemical use, social isolation, bullying, harassment, etc.

It's accessible through the Washburn website's homepage ("Student Tip Line") or the Student Handbook.

How do I get club/sports (or other) posters approved to be hung up at WHS?

All posters must be approved and stamped by Ms. Terpening before they are put up on the wall. There are no exceptions to this.

If you are tardy to a class, can the teacher give you a zero for the work you missed?

Consequences for tardies are at the discretion of the teacher and may include: 

1)  No credit for work missed as a result of tardiness to class  

2)  Parent contact 

3)  Referral to dean for repeated infractions

How much does it cost to register for an IB exam?

They are free, and you should all register for them!

There are grade-based incentives in Q3 & Q4 for credibly taking the official exams.
