"Tara" comes in for a Brazilian wax...you notice she has some ingrown hairs and explain the importance of using the serum and/or wipes to help them. Tara said thanks but times are tough with the Holidays. How would you respond?
I totally get it, everything is is expensive. Just so you know, we are doing a product sale right now for the Holiday's and after care is so important with waxing especially with such an expensive service, the products help so that you won't have to come in as often which saves you money and time in the long run! I'll put a few at the front desk with the girls and they can go over pricing with you!
What is the ingredient that slows the hair growth?

If a guest wants an ingrown hair treatment product, how would you decipher which one you are gonna suggest to them?
The ingrown hair wipes are good for someone who needs a little more exfoliation--the convenience of wipes, has witch hazel so it is stronger
The ingrown hair serum are good for someone who wants to use it over larger surfaces -contains tea tree oil and is alcohol free
The ingrown hair mist is good for people who don't want to use their hands and also good for large surfaces and someone who is on the go cause it dries quickly
If a guest already has an ingrown hair serum and a body polish. What is the next product you would pitch them?
I would recommend any kind of body lotion, moisturizer or cream to keep the skin hydrated in between waxes.
"Denise" comes in for an eyebrow wax and you notice she has some gaps in her eyebrows. She doesn't mention it but it is noticeable. How would you bring up products to her without offending her?
For each brow service, you should be doing a consultation with the guest and going over the shape they are trying to achieve. You should ask the guest is they are happy with the current shape of their brows, this gives Denise the opportunity to say that she notices some gaps and wants them to grow in. This is when you can offer her the Brow Building Serum and it is important to educate them on the consistency of using the product, twice a day, and then also offer the brow liner as a temporary fix until the serum works.
How does the slow line exfoliants work?

What are the benefits of using the new Spongelle? & How many uses is it good for? If someone asks if it grows bacteria, how would you respond?
While exfoliating the first layer of the skin barrier, it helps smooth skin texture, unclog pores, and prevent/ treat ingrown hairs, bumps and breakouts.
14 plus- but explain to the guest that it's different person to person and how and where they are using it.
It doesn't sit long enough for it to grow any bacteria.
If a guest comes in and their hair is too short, what do you do?
Explain that the hair is too short for the service to be done and that they need to come back with it grown to a quarter of an inch and then offer a body polish to help exfoliate before they come back in and recommend a date and time for them to come back
"Karen" comes in for a Brazilian and underarm wax and has never bought a product but comes consistently every 4 weeks. You try to pitch the products and she says that she has products at home she uses from TreeHut. How would you respond?
Explain how much the TreeHut products are clinically known to clog pores as well as Dove products. "I know they are so popular and smell great but they are doing nothing for your skin! The products here are specifically made for people who wax and have ingredients that slow down hair growth so you won't have to come in as often as well as prevent and treating those pesky ingrown hairs. While we have our product promotion, I recommend you get the Body wash and Body polish, i'll leave them on the desk up front and the girls can go over the prices with you with the sale."
A guest wants to get their brows laminated and asks if we offer the service here. What would you offer here that we do have?
What are PHA's and AHA's?

Walk us through an entire guest experience from beginning to end from a waxer perspective
You have a guest, "Michelle", who comes in every 4 weeks religiously but refuses to rebook her reservation in store because of her messy work schedule. You explain to her in the room to rebook her reservation for 4 weeks and she says "No I don't know my work schedule yet it's too much to book in advance." How would you respond?
"If I were you, I would just book in store because every time you book in store you get $1 added to your account and you can move it as many times you want even on the app. The holiday's are also coming up so I want to make sure I have time to fit you in somewhere so just book for 4 weeks and you can always call to move it."

Other than the physical aspect, it chemically exfoliates with the ground pumice working with the PHA's and AHA's.
Guest "Gabby" is your regular guest and when she comes in for her regular Brazilian wax she tells you this is going to be her last time coming in and that she is going to start lasering instead. How would you respond?
"From personal experience, most guests who leave to go get lasering end up coming back to get waxed in between sessions. It does get pricey and if you stop lasering the hair does grow back so it is similar to waxing but waxing is significantly cheaper. Think about both options and see what you want to do!"
