A student who is considered lawfully absent per AP 5113 - Student Attendance , Absence, and Truancy from a class, will have the opportunity to make up missed assignments.

What is the administrative breakdown for support with student discipline?
The safety and supervision of all students is a shared responsibility of all staff members in the elementary building. In accordance with this administrative procedure, all students must be supervised at all times on school property.
Teachers will meet in content and/or grade-level teams for this activity to engage in professional learning, discuss instructional strategies, plan grade-level activities, discuss scholar work and analyze student data.

What are Bulletin Boards?
This school wide policy and procedure has been put into place for the safety, respect and health of all WBES staff and students. It applies to all staff and students and is in accordance with Prince George’s County Public School’s policies and procedures (Administrative Procedure 4221).
Teachers will be recording daily attendance electronically in the School Information System (SchoolMAX). Attendance must be taken each day. Teachers will mark those students that are present in the system by 8:30 AM daily.
In addition to the staff handbook, this document supports with arrival and dismissal of scholars.
