I would need to realize anything about Robert's personality is part of CHARACTER and something at the end of a story is CONCLUSION/RESOLUTION. I would need to know that elements of literary structure are just fancy ways of saying the parts of a story.

Process of elimination means that you eliminate answer choices that you are absolutely sure or not the answer to narrow down the odds of getting the answer correct. It is useful because it allows your mind to focus on fewer choices, and the chances of getting the answer correct are better.
