It is a system made up of all the bones of our body.

A part of the body where two bones meet.


What are tendons?

They are a band of very strong tissue that connects skeletal muscles to bones


Is crying a voluntary or a reflex action?

Crying is a reflex action. 


Could you tell the different injuries the skeletal and muscular systems can have?

A fracture, a sprain and a muscle contracture.


What are the fuctions of the skeleton?

Protection, support and movement.


Name the types of joints and an example

Moveable joints: Elbow and knee.

Fixed joints: Skull.


Which are the different shapes of muscles?

Long, circular, short and flat muscles.


Explain how does the arm moves.

- Flex: Biceps contracts and triceps relaxes.

- Extends: Biceps relaxes and triceps contracts.

What's antagonist muscles? Name an example. 

They are a pair of muscles that make opposite movements. They work together to flex and extend the limb.

Example: The arm, biceps and triceps.

A flexible tissue that covers the ends of bones in moveable joints. It stops the bones rubbing together.

They are elastic organs which can be stretched and returned to their normal length
