Frontal rain occurs when a warm air mass collides with a cold air mass, forcing the warmer, lighter air to rise and cool, leading to condensation and precipitation.

incoming solar radiation enters the earth's atmosphere. It passes through because it is short wave, electromagnetic radiation. The earth's atmosphere and surface absorb the elecromagnetic radiation and convert it into heat. This isthen rereleased into the atmosphere as long wavelength infrared heat.This is then absorbed by greenhouse gasses.
