How is climate different than weather?
climate is the long term conditions (example dessert is typically hot & dry) but weather is what is going on currently!

when cold air takes the place of warm air

Caused when warm air rises (usually rainy/cold)

The greenhouse effect is when gases get trapped in our atmosphere and warm the earth.

when two air masses are not moving

Created when air high in the atmosphere cools and sinks back to earth (creates sunnier skies)

wind speed and direction

When a cold front catches up to a warm front
