This is the process where water vapor combines with dust and other particles in the atmosphere to form clouds.
Condensation
These clouds are high in the sky and look wispy and feathery.
Cirrus Clouds
The measurement of how hot or cold the air is.
Temperature
An extreme winter storm with dangerously high winds and heavy snowfall.
Blizzard
This tool measures the amount of rainfall in a certain area.
Rain Gauge
The step in the water cycle where liquid water turns in to vapor and rises into the atmosphere.
Evaporation
These clouds look like they are blanketing the sky, often not letting the sun through.
Stratus Clouds
The measurement of how much moisture is present in the air.
Humidity
A severe weather event where high levels of precipitation cause water levels to rise too high, moving into areas where it shouldn’t. (Grab your canoe and life jacket!)

This type type of precipitation occurs when the air temperature is cold enough that water freezes and forms soft flakes that fall to the ground.
