Dickinson hosted this RAP group, with about 16 (I think?) students attending a first year seminar class (in the Webster classroom).
What is the first year CNS RAP?
Orchard Hill used to be (get this) a bountiful orchard before it's conversion to a residence area completed in 1964. It coined its name from this rather common fruit tree present before its transformation.
What is an apple tree?
On November 18th, a fire broke out in this part of the Orchard Hill area.
What is the observatory?
The very first House Council event of the year offered Insomnia Cookies, coloring, bracelet making, and other sorts of crafty activities. Despite it being the first event, we got a late start, as it was held in this month.

The number of current (official) Webster/Dickinson House Council members.

The Orchard Hill observatory previously used to house a 20" telescope, before it was found to have a crack, then being replaced with a new telescope of this size instead.

On September 3rd, the very first day of classes, a bomb threat was called into Dickinson due to this unusual cause from a package received at the RSD.
The Webster entrance housed this February 18th event titled "Welcome Gnome", where residents could make these "living crafts" to bring back to their rooms.

Technically, the wonderful residence hall encompassing half our cluster is called Dickinson *House*. Dickinson *Hall*, named after Captain Walter Mason Dickinson, is home to this program instead.

This event spurred a 3am gathering in the bowl (and for one brave soul to go fishing in the pond) on September 25th.

On April 23rd, there was a House Council event with boba tea abound. There was also a screening for this movie.

I went tick collecting in the woods north of Orchard Hill a couple days ago, catching between 30 and 40 ticks of these two species (name at least one).

Over the last half of winter break, part of Dickinson lost wifi connection after a window was left open, freezing and bursting the pipes in this room.
