According to this competency, social work students must demonstrate these types of interventions at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of social work practice.
What are generalist interventions?
The purpose of this level of generalist social work practice is to improve organizational functioning and service delivery, and community well-being for vulnerable populations. As opposed to Macro Generalist Practice practice which focuses on helping others indirectly through policy changes.
What is Mezzo Generalist Practice?
This type of research seeks solutions to organizational, community, and service delivery problems. It also addresses practical issues encountered in the provision of social work services to clients and constituents.
What is applied research?
Students will meet once a week during the practicum for Capstone and Seminar on this day and time.

Organizations often apply for this type of funding by defining a problem and submitting a proposal on how they will use the funds to address the problem.
What are grants?
This is one of the most reliable and valid methods of measuring client change and is done when social workers conduct home visits and/or interact with clients in a community setting.
