The Water Cylcle is a continuous process:
Precipitation: some form of water drops from clouds in the sky.
Absorption:some water is absorbed through cracks and crevices in the ground and joins the underground water table. Other water falls into rivers and lakes.
Transpiration: trees and plants take-up water from the ground and release water vapour through their leaves into the atmosphere.
Evaporation: oceans and lakes evaporate water to the atmosphere because of the heat from the Sun.
Condensation: molecules of water vapour condence (join) together and produce clouds. When the water gets to heavy it is released back to Earth.
