Put it in the nearest trash can. 🚮🗑️The trash can is located beside the circulation desk.
How do we enter and exit the library?
We enter quietly and go to our assigned table or carpet seat. We line up at the door to wait quietly for our teacher.
Which area would I find books with true information?
Nonfiction, on the big side of the library or in the baskets next to the carpet area

Keep up with your book, do not eat or drink while reading, protect your book from younger siblings, do not mark in your book

You may create arts & crafts ✂️🎨🖌️, build with Legos, or play a board game. We will learn all about the Makerspace area of the library in the weeks to come!
What are ways you can resolve a conflict with a classmate in the library? What are things you should NOT do when having a conflict with a classmate?
Use your words in a kind way to solve the problem. Tell a teacher and seek help solving the problem. You should NOT use your hands (fight, push, shove) or use unkind words.

How can you communicate if you need to use the restroom? When is a good time to use the restroom during library?
Show the hand signal. You may use the restroom AFTER the lesson (when you are working on activities at the table or checking out).
Please go to the bathroom before coming to the library. Our class time is short and I don't want you to miss out on our fun activities.

If you did not return a book, what can you read?
You can read the books in your table basket but please make sure you put it back when finished.
How can you decide if you want to check out a book?
Look at the cover, read the back or first few pages of the book, see if it is interesting to you.
What are biographies and where are they located?
Biographies are books about real people's lives and the biography section is on the wall next to the hallway.
What do we do during a fire drill?
Line up silently, exit through the front doors, walk to the stairs, and face the building silently. 🤐
