False. Wait and be patient for the teacher to call on you to share. Raise a quiet hand!

We transition all the time! From on academic subject or block to another, going to the gym, recess, dismissal.

No! We are all a family and are a part of this wonderful community.

No. You must be able to get on and off of them on your own.

No, we need to wait our turn.

Whole body listening Larry, body is calm and eyes are forward. Walking feet and voices are off.

We are setting examples for Kindergarten. Sitting in our seats, nothing on desks, eyes are forward and side conversations are off.

300

How do we use the slide?

Go up the stairs and down the slide always!

300

Should you play around in the bathroom if other people are in there?

No, use the bathroom, flush, wash hands and return back to class.

400

During morning break time, what do we need to remember?

This break is for sit down games, drawing, puzzles etc. We shouldn't be running around the room playing recess games.

400

How should we look as we transition from the classroom to the gym, playground or gym?

In a straight line. Let's practice

400

Since we are in a cohort with Kindergarten, does that mean we can enter into another cohort like 2,3,4?

Unfortunately coming back from break we have to be extra careful, so no we cannot interact with members in other cohorts for now.

400

Should we be hanging upside down on the monkey bars? Why?

No, we must be head above feet at all times. You can land on your head and get really hurt. Feet must be closer to the ground.

400

Can I run to the bathroom?

Walking feet! That is a transition!

500

We are all so close with each other in the classroom, should we be competing with each other with different things?

We should NOT be competing, sharing levels or things that will make others feel uncomfortable. Cheer people on, don't brag or boast.

500

Does it matter who is in front or back of us as we transition?

No. We are all going to the same place, just walk from the place that you were in, no trying to cut, just walk.

500

During dismissal time in our cohort, what do we need to remember when we take things out?

As we are called for dismissal if we take out markers, please take a handful and put them in a bin before you leave, clean up your desk space.

No, you must stay within your designated zone for the day.
