Most of the time you will find the nurse in the room on first floor by the office that Angie and Mrs. Henningson are located. Sometimes, the nurse is on 2nd floor next to Ms. O'Malley's room.

When do we get a field trip?
Usually, in the Fall there is a Cherokee Co. Farm Tour. Also, a trip to Iowa Great Lakes to see the effects of the glaciers. In the Spring we attend an outdoor classroom at Prairie Heritage Center near Sutherland.
Sports minded teacher that makes sure your lessons add up! You will swing, boat and float in Science with him.

Where are recess soccer, basketball and footballs located?
In a cupboard between Mrs. Rohwer's room (Kindergarten) and the West exit. If you take a ball out, remember to bring it back in! Most of our recess time is on the football field and track.

When does full 5th grade band begin?
Late October or early November. Lessons start at the beginning of 5th grade. The first band concert is at Christmas.
