Actively listening to the speaker with your eyes reading along on the white board.

What are the expectations for phones and smart watches?
Put away in your locker.
What should students be doing when the bell rings for class to start?
Students should be in their seats with iPads are down and away once the bell rings.
What should you do when Mr. McGinness says "Waterfall, Waterfall?"
Immediately respond with "Shhh", and be quiet (the first time).
What should you do before moving to another table during work time?
Ask Mr. McGinness
What are the expectations for the Mini-Lesson/Instructional time?
Actively listening with eyes on the teacher/TV.
During work time, what should you do BEFORE asking Mr. McGinness for help?
Read the directions on the assignment or in Canvas or ask a table partner.

One
When is not an appropriate time to sharpen your pencil?
When is the appropriate time in class to play games or watch YouTube Shorts on your iPad?
Never.
What should you do if you are tardy to class?
Grab a Tardy slip, fill it out, and give it to Mr. McGinness
What is the proper way to get out of class on time?
Being seated at your desk when the bell rings.
What should collaboration look like at your table groups?
Discussing with one another, working together, listening to everyone, staying on task, and NOT just copying off each other.
