What should I do when I'm absent?
Remind Mrs. Bygness that you were out & see what you need to do.
How often will we use chromebooks in science?
Bring your chromebook charged everyday. In 5th grade science we use many online programs to supplement our learning.
If it's not charged and we need it, make sure you have your charger and you can plug it in to use.
How many STAAR tests will I take in 5th grade?

How can I get my teacher's attention?
raise your hand & wait for Mrs. Bygness to call on you.
Where should I keep my supplies?
Keep YOUR supplies with you, NOT in the cubbies. You use what YOU bring. So be prepared. Whatever you run out of, make sure you replenish as needed.
Will we be doing science outside of the classroom?
Yes!
Planetarium, Nature Trails, science demos, & more!
When you teacher says "Class Class" you do what?

Where should I keep my study guide, SNAP, and all materials?
Be sure to bring all of these items to science everyday.

We use these daily to take notes in, create lab write-ups in, and do all of our daily 'writing in Science' activities in.

When & where do I need to return my SNAP?
At the end of class, it is to be placed on the bookshelf in a neat pile on the correct class shelf
Will we have class pets in science?
Maybe, depending on availability from the SRC (and any known allergies of all students)
