You don't get credit for the assignment and get a 1 for all of the standards.
There are occasional exceptions because "life" happens.
If you want to share your opinion or answer a question what should you do?
Raise your hand or wait for a chance to speak.
Is who people like or who they are dating up for discussion, debate or commentary?
Is it a good idea to tell yell out that an assignment or activity is “boring” or “stupid”?

If you have some constructive feedback, send it in an email or talk to Mr. Lord in person.
What should you do if you need to use the bathroom, get a drink or go see the nurse?
Ask permission and take the hall pass.
What happens if you copy work from another student or from AI or another online source?
You will not get credit for the assignment and will receive a 1 for each standard. There will also be a potential disciplinary action.
Can you have side conversations with your friends?
No.
What will happen if you bring your drama into class?
If you disagree with someone's opinion during a class discussion how should you approach that?
Depends somewhat on the specific circumstance, but things to remember:
1. Your opinion is just that, it's just yours.
2. Say what you mean, mean what you say, don't say it mean.
3. Disagree with the opinion NOT the person.
4. Value the "competition."
Can you go to the bathroom or get a drink more than once during a class period?
Who is responsible for coming to class prepared?
YOU.
What should you do if you have completed your work but other people are still working?
Find something to do to not distract others.

What can you do if you’re having a bad day and having a hard time being at your best?

No. I don't accept incomplete work without speaking to me first.

Is it ok to kiss or engage in other PDA in my classroom?
Ew, gross. Kissing is awesome but does NOT happen in this room. If you do it, I will call you out and you don't want that.
If you have a problem with another teacher, should you express that problem out loud in class?
No. Teachers are my friends and colleagues and I don't allow this to happen.
Mr. Lord messes up sometimes and may unintentionally say or do something hurtful. What should you do if you feel as though this has happened to you or a peer?
SPEAK UP! But speak to him in person and in private.
I play sports and we have practice every day and sometimes games. Is playing sports an exception for late work? What about hunting, sleepovers, weekends away with my family?

You are a STUDENT athlete and your school work comes first. You need to stay eligible.

Is it ok to use your phone?
No, but there will be times when I will allow them for VERY specific moments. BUT if those moments aren't handled well than they will end for everyone.
