True or False

All members are required to participate in the programs we are provide.

D. A & C

E. None of the Above

C. For continuous negative behaviors.

An incident report is used to document any non-injury incidents. Some use may include but are not limited to:

Fighting

Cursing

Disruptive Behavior

**This report should not be used to scare the members into acting appropriately, but to allow the team to talk the members through what they are doing wrong and how they can fix it before a report comes to be.

200

How many kids should be out of the group at a time? Who release's members from the group?

1 member should be out of the room at a time. The group leader should be the only one releasing the members to avoid confusion. They should also use their radio to announce when members are released.

**According to the BGCA 1 or 3 members should be out at any time. This ratio is to avoid any one of one event (bullying/hazing/etc.) outside of supervision.

200

Where are the requests for Leave (vacation requests) located? How much time in advance should they be given to your supervisor?

The club office of both sites should have a central location for the forms.

They need to be done 2 weeks in advance. With that said it is not guaranteed that it will be approved and is based on the needs of the club. If they are approved you must immediately put it in the club calendar and invite (lancey, robert, fatima, traci, evencia).

True or False

There are only good cop's and bad cop's.

False. All program team are expected to hold the members accountable for their actions and connecting with the kids.

Come in being the person you want the members to see you as.  Respect is hard earned and not demanded. We must always hold the members accountable for their actions. Behaviors will not change by being lenient with members and our expectations. No matter how small the rule may seem (ex. rolling in chairs).

300

True or False

Members are allowed to have their phones when the activity calls for it.

Yes, very true! Although we take the phones as they enter the building, we can encourage participation through the use of technology in certain activities. This works especially with our older groups.

300
