How long are breaks?
Breaks should be about 5 minutes.
What are the expectations regarding physical contact?

Don't share materials
Avoid touching surfaces others have touched
Are students allowed to wear hoods in the hallway?
No hoods in the hallway or in the classroom.
How do you determine if there is a school closure?
Follow the news according to your specific district.
What is the dress code?
Have a safe and appropriate dress.
Ex. No hoods, no bandanas, no heavy/bulky jackets
What is the expectation with assignments when you are late, absent, or out of class (i.e. counseling, in time out etc.)?
The expectation is that you talk with your teacher about what work you have missed and make time to make it up.
What is the electronic policy?
Students are permitted to use electronic devices at, at the discretion of the teacher, during arrival and dismissal times.
What is the expectation when you need to leave your classroom?
Ask for permission and have staff with you.
If discussed and approved by staff, students may walk in the hallway by themselves (green level advantage).

Get temperature taken and answer the self-check questions
Students are never permitted to take pictures or record staff or students.
If you need to talk to a counselor because any of the following:
Something happened on the bus
You need to discuss something urgent that cant wait for counseling
You have an important issue or problem
You need to make an urgent phone call
You feel you cannot be successful without extra behavioral support
You have thoughts or feelings about yourself or others that you need to talk to a counselor about
What are the expectations if you attend/want to attend WTCC?
Maintain good attendance
Maintain good grades at WEC
Maintain good behavior both at WEC and WTCC
Where are students expected to remain/where in the building is considered to be trespassing.
Students should stay in their own "wing."
If students walk in the Tech building, passed the workout room and/or the WTCC building, they are considered to be trespassing.
What should you do before getting on the bus to come to school everyday?
What is asking yourself:
Have I been in contact with an individual that tested positive for Covid-19?
Do I have flu like symptoms?
Check your temperature.
Using the S.T.A.R.T Now expectations, what can you do here at school in order to earn PA and quality points?
Examples of safety, tolerance, accountability, respect.
Engage and follow rules of each period.
How long are mask breaks?
Even when 6 feet apart, students should not take mask breaks that last longer than 20-minutes.
20 minute breaks every one hour.
