Who is in the wrong the teacher or the student?
Explain what the student or teacher should have done differently.
Archer and Devon were giggling quietly during a group work session, playfully nudging each other while still completing their assignment. The teacher had asked multiple students including them to stop talking and work quietly. Suddenly, their teacher slammed a hand on the desk, startling the class. Without asking any questions, the teacher accused them of disrupting the lesson and wrote referrals for both students. Archer, confused and upset, tried to explain, but the teacher cut him off. Devon started crying, feeling unfairly punished. The situation escalated as both boys felt frustrated and unheard.
The TEACHER is in the wrong. ( It is possible)
The teacher was upset and took out the frustration she/he had on the class on Archer and Devon. Even though the teacher had spoken to them beforehand it does not give a teacher the right to make a scene and not listen to the students. The teacher should have talked the students, taken a moment to calm down and be flexible to the students needs.
