Sit bottom to bottom and back to back. 

Talk to people in your seat or across the isle, keep all body parts in your seat area. 

If there are behaviors on the bus, there will be consequences.

 Negative Consequences: The uncomfortable or unhappy results of a poor choice 

(e.g., consistently talking or blurting out in class, resulting in silent lunch or no recess).

Guidance Teacher and Nurse: When is it appropriate to go see them, outside of class?

When having guidance talk to the teacher then about your needs. 

If the guidance teacher has scheduled to get you then do not ask to go see her. You may ask me to reach out to her or you may e-mail her. 

The nurse should not be visited unless getting meds or it is an emergency. I have basic first aid care for you. This includes, band aides for bleeds or sores, thermometer for temps, etc. If a need arises I will be told and will give you permission to go to the nurse.

What is a good way to use "I" statements when you are frustrated about a consequence you received?

"I feel upset/frustrated/mad about ________".


Example: "I feel upset about this grade, but I want to understand how I can do better next time."

If given the opportunity to go somewhere around campus before, during or after school what choices will you make?

Choices include but not limited to: 

Walking to and from locations.

Volume will be a zero to and from locations. 

Show respect to anyone I encounter.

Pencils. Where do I find them, when am I allowed to sharpen them?

Penicils are found in the yellow scooby doo pencil dispenser. I am only allowed to sharpen a pencil if the pencil dispenser is empty and only at the beginning of class. 

Forgetting to have pencil or materials results in owing me 5 minutes of your recess time.

Recess is a time to hang out with friends, be a kid. Tell me how we go to recess and exit from recess. 

Line up and walk to and from the building to the playground. 

Play only with or on the equipment available. Stay in sight of the teacher. Make safe and smart choices during recess. Use kind words, keep hands to yourself.

This is for indoor and outdoor recess!!

Needs: Who can I tell if I am needing things?

Where can I find these things?

You can tell your teachers, counselor, nurse, a trusted friend that can tell one of those people mentioned. 

I can find things I need in my teachers closet, nurses office, clothing closet.

The class agreed on a rule to not talk while the teacher is speaking. If you break this rule, what am I accountable for?

 Accepting the teacher's consequence without complaining because you helped make the rule.
