Started with the company in December 1987 as an invoice matcher – literally matching PO’s to invoices so they can be paid. Had the pleasure of Mr. Sam’s company at a morning meeting. Helped with Hurricane Katrina after-math – assisting FEMA & Red Cross getting beverages into New Orleans for relief efforts. Extremely organized and task driven and considers one of the most fun experiences ever had was driving 153 mph on Texas Motor Speedway (a birthday present). Enjoys spending time with family and would love nothing more than to meet Steven Tyler from Aerosmith!

Started as a temporary Associate nearly 11 years ago. One of his noteworthy accomplishments in the early days was being one of the first Associates to take incoming Member calls when the Sam’s Club call center consisted of just a couple Associates inside the Walmart call center. Since then, he’s served in several positions. While other teenagers flipped burgers and stocked groceries, this 14-year-old was riding her bicycle to her first marketing job. Calling prospective customers from her neighbor’s garage in small-town Illinois, she convinced them to set up appointments to have their carpets cleaned. And since shyness has never been a problem for this former live theater performer and one-time stand-up comedian, she made the sales and earned her money. A few years later, she studied art and psychology in college, which led her again to marketing and advertising. She built a career out of it at Walgreens, working her way up to become the company’s first female creative director.
