Give things of value and that you are attached to away in acts of generosity.
When she was asked questions by the women of the Ummah she never got impatient at them.
وَأُذُنُهُ الْفَهْمُ ،
And its ear is understanding
وَحِفْظُهُ الْفَحْصُ ،
And its memory is detailed investigating/searching
وَجَيْشُهُ مُحَاوَرَةُ الْعُلَمَاءِ ،
And its army is having conversations with the knowledgeable ones

If you are capable of doing something do it yourself. Who remembers the story of the Holy Prophet (saw) or Imam Ṣadiq (as)? - Allāh (عز و جل) loves hard work and hardworking people.
She and her family went without food at Iftār time for 3 days, giving all they had to eat to the beggar, the captive and the orphan. Their reward for that was the food of Jannah.
وَيَدُهُ الرَّحْمَةُ ،
And its hand is mercy
وَمَالُهُ الْأَدَبُ ،
And its wealth is having manners
