This founding member was offered to wear a badge of a fraternity on DePauw's campus, not as a member but as a supporter of the organization. She rejected the offer stating unless she was offered full membership, she would not wear the badge. When the members of that fraternity declined to offer her membership, she decided to establish Kappa Alpha Theta...
