Be Safe
How do we walk in the hallways?
Zero voices, Arms Crossed, Walking Feet, and eyes looking forward
What do we do when we hear the whistle?
Get to the line area. We line up with zero voices, eyes looking forward, arms crossed, and zero voices.
How do we enter the classroom?
Zero voices, walking feet, we get any materials we may need, and sit in out chairs.
How can we leave the classroom?
Using a bathroom ticket and asking one of our teachers.
What is our second school expectation?
Be respectful
What are the lunch room rules?
Walk in with zero voice, put our heads down on the tables and wait with zero voices until we are called.
What part of the playground are we allowed to play on?
The swings, basketball courts, the jungle gym equipment, and the obstacle course area.
How do we get our laptops?
zero voices, unplug the laptops, carry them closed with both hands, and go back to our seats with zero voices.
When can we sharpen our pencils?
In the mornings before groups, after lunch, and after recess. We can also ask a teacher.
What is our third school expectation
Be responsible
How do we use the bathroom?
We have zero voices in the bathroom, we do our business, we wash our hands. We also make sure that we don't make a mess with the paper towels and soap.
Are we allowed to have snowball fights in the winter?
No, we will be in trouble.
How do we put our laptops away?
Close out of our tabs. turn off the laptop and close it. We walk to the cart with zero voices and make sure to plug in out laptop
What is CHAMPS?
C is our conversation level, H is how we get help, A is the activity we are doing, M is our movement expectation, and P is participation.
What is our fourth school expectation?
Be a learner
How do we enter the Gym for P.E.?
We have zero voices, we put our street shoes in a cubby, we grab our p.e. shoes from the box, we enter the gym to put on our p.e. shoes.
If we are having issues with a peer at recess what should we do?
1. try to talk it out with the peer
2. Walk away
3. Get a teacher
Do we have out backpacks, jackets, or water bottles at our desk?
No, out backpacks and jackets should be in out locker. Our water bottles go on the table by the door.
What is the first thing we do in the mornings and right after lunch?
Get our books, sharpen our pencils, get a drink, and go to the bathroom. We do this all with zero voices.
If we are to school and get here after 8:30 what do we do first?
Check in with the office before coming to class
Are we allowed to run or climb up the slides?
no, slides are made for us to slide down on.
Where should our phones be durning the day?
In our backpacks that our in out lockers. Our phones should also be off.
