Your chair needs to be pushed in, at your own desk
Do you need permission to leave the classroom?
Yes! If you are going to get something from your locker, going to the foundation or to the bathroom, you need permission
What time do we start and end school?
9:05am to 3:25pm
TRUE OR FALSE: When I am finished my work, Mademoiselle Gadsdon wants me to put it in her hands or on her desk.
FALSE.
Your finished work should go in the Turn-In Bins at the back of the classroom.
What material goes into the blue recycling box?
Plastics, the grey box is for paper.
What stairs should you use to go outside for recess and/or dismissal?
The HOT DOG stairs!
It's snowing almost 10cm of snow tonight! What is the rule about snow during outdoor breaks?
It stays on the ground
What is expected of you in our class at the end of our school day?
(There are four things you need to do!)
1. Complete your ClassBank Job (We will be changing them next week!)
2. Tidy your desk and surrounding areas.
3. Stand behind your pushed-in chair and wait for your name to be called.
4. Get your things and return to class before the bell
What is expected of you when you are in the halls?
(There are two possible things!)
1. Walking, not running
2. To always walk on the right side of the hallway
Who are your rotary teachers?
(There are five teachers!)
1. Mme. Nielen (Gym)
2. Mme. Waito (Arts/ Oral French)
3. Mme. Lalonde (Science)
4. Mme. Grayson (Music/ Drama/ Dance)
5. Mme Gillen (Makerspace)
Are you allowed to decorate your lockers?
Yes, but only on the inside. You also have the responsibility to keep your locker neat, tidy and organized!
Where do your phones and headphones go during the school day?
In the red and blue pochette pouches beside the blackboard
When am I allowed to stay inside for nutrition breaks?
You can only stay inside if:
1. You have Mlle Gadsdon's permission
2. You have the permission of the teacher who you are staying with
3. There is a teacher in the room
What period do you have rotary on every single day of your cycle?
Period 5! You will either have Mme. Lalonde (Science) or Mme. Waito (Arts/ French)
What does zero-tolerance mean?
Zero-Tolerance means there is no second chance - you will receive a consequence the first time you make the wrong decision.
Central has zero-tolerance on bullying and going hands-on.
Where are our classroom scissors ?
Underneath our bathroom sign-outs!
What do I need to go out for lunch?
(There is only one answer!)
1. A signed note from your parents, that is also signed by Mlle Gadsdon
How should your desk appear when you leave for rotary?
(There are three answers!)
1. Nothing should be on your desk
2. Chair pushed in
3. Your materials should be with you (Binder, Pencil, Waterbottle, etc.)
You are late coming back to school from going out for lunch. You weren't trying to be, but it just happened. What can you do?

1. Get back as safely and as quickly as you can!
2. Use a phone to call Mme Brown in the office
3. Leave the restaurant
