Describe how you would make a snow burrow? Also, tell me what you should wear, and what you should look for.
You should be wearing water repellent clothing or wool. You either burrow in backwards into a soft snow bank, or you can cannon ball in. Be careful not to jump into a rock or stump. Be sure to leave space for breathing. This is just a temporary shelter designed to get out of the wind.

Describe in detail how you would make a quinzee.
The Quinzee will be the snow shelter you will build at winter survival. Start by clearing the snow, with a shovel, down to the ground making a circle about 12 feet in diameter. Second throw the snow back onto your circle. The snow should be thrown into the air so it can crystallize and pack as it starts to pile up. Once you have a pile of snow approximately 4 to 6 feet high, stop piling the snow. Third take sticks and insert them into your pile of snow up to 12 inches. Stick lengths should be 8 to 12 inches in length. Let your pile of snow settle for one hour. Fourth using a shovel or can, dig out your quinzee. Start by choosing the side that would make the best door. Consider wind direction and the surrounding environment. (Never make a quinzee by yourself. Always make sure you have somebody on the outside as you dig it out, in case of collapse. You should dig it out on your knees, never on your back.) Stop digging when you come to a stick or you can see the walls getting thin. (Make sure you are wearing proper clothing because you will be lying in the snow to do this.) Once you have the quinzee dug out you will add a vent hole in the top. This will allow for oxygen flow and will allow moisture to escape. The final step is to put a barrier down between you and the ground, like a tarp. Make sure temperatures are well below freezing when building and using a quinzee.
