What are some roles of the Library Technology Manager?
Decision maker of technologies purchased for the SPPL and connects with partnering vendors on the public computers and printers. Making sure all software are up to date.
What is Materials Management Center?
Where all materials at the SPPL are processed before making its way to the library's shelves. People who work here are working behind the scenes focusing on selecting what materials to be purchased and add it to the database. Also, restocks the supplies at the libraries.
What is Teen Hang-Out/Createch?
A teen space to create arts/crafts and learn/explore new technologies, like a 3D printer or sewing machine. There are different consoles to play: VR, PS5 and Switch.
What does the LCSA do?
Working mostly with the library materials and circulation: sorting/shelving books and assisting the public.
What does LA do?
Provide customer service, plan and implement programs, make changes to the library’s collection, and contribute to keeping the library a safe place to visit and work. They may be the designated staff in charge, and can train and orient other staff.
