Due to poor sanitation in Medieval Times, the Plague spread rapidly, giving little to no time for a city to prepare for a strike of the illness. Several homemade remedies were attempted to try and rid people of the disease, but it was useless. Without the proper knowledge of disease transmission, people were doomed and their fate as tragically sealed.
