He is known as the god of the sun. Unlike his sister, who enjoyed hunting, this god preferred to play music.
Apollo
This three-headed dog guards the gates of the underworld.
Cerberus
Goddess of the agriculture, nature, and the four seasons, her daughter was kidnapped and forced to live in the underworld for 6 months out of the year.
Demeter
He slew the gorgon that was turning people to stone.
Perseus
She was kidnapped and taken into the underworld, where she was made queen. She has to go back every 6 months because she ate some pomegranate seeds.
Persephone
He is the god of the seas, water, storms, and (oddly enough) horses.
Poseidon
This gigantic half-man, half-bull lives in a labyrinth.
The Minotaur
The twin sister of Apollo, she is known as the Goddess of the Hunt.
Artemis
He is one of Zeus' children, named Alcides when he was born. He changed his name when he grew up, and became one of the strongest, handsomest men in the Greek world. He can sometimes be seen with his winged horse, Pegasus.
Herakles (aka Hercules)
When she was kidnapped, it brought about the Trojan War.
Helen of Troy
He is the god of war.
Ares
These monsters are known for having only one eye. The most famous are the three brothers Brontes, Steropes, and Arges.
Cyclopes
Goddess of the earth. She is the ancestor of all the Greek goddesses and gods... and also of some of the mythical monsters.
Gaea/Gaia
He escaped the Labyrinth by wearing a pair of wax wings that his father Daedalus created... but then flew too close to the sun, so they melted!
Icarus
This woman was both blessed and cursed. Blessed to be able to see the future... but cursed, in that nobody ever believed her.
Cassandra
God of the underworld, he tricked a young woman into becoming his queen.
Hades
These creatures are depicted as half-woman and half-fish, though sometimes they also have wings. They sing beautiful songs to lure sailors to their doom.
