True! Your opinion should be stated in each paragraph. It helps keep your writing focused. But try to use a variety of opinion language phrases - In my opinion, I feel, I think, I believe. Don't use the same words every time.
What does it mean to elaborate?
To give more information on the text evidence you just provided using your own words. You can give an example, restate what text said, make a personal connection or explain why that part of the text was important.
True or False: It is okay if you only make a few errors in capitalization and punctuation.
True! It won't hurt your score to make a few mistakes - but it will if you make the same mistake over and over again. For example, if you forget to capitalize the first word of most of your sentences.
