Does your parachute detach from the system or will it drag my drone in high winds?
The system was designed to protect life and property on the ground. Once it lands, depending on weather conditions, it is possible that it could be drug across the ground.
The system enables safe flight over people, allowing access to a market. The price includes the physical product and the data package for FAA waiver submission.
Why the cost is near or more than drone cost

The Nexus is designed not to be susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and will be thoroughly tested before it is approved shipping.
Water proof / will it float?
System is designed to add buoyancy but does not serve as a floatation device. It is rated to IP-43 (which is the water and dust rating of measurement for mechanical and electronic enclosures).
How does the system detect power failure vs bad cable connection?
If there is no inbound current – such as the port has failed or the cable has malfunctioned, you will be instructed immediately. If there is a full power failure, the system will detect the change in aircraft behavior and determine to deploy or not based on the scenario.
