What are Kindergarteners or What is 5 and 6 year olds.
This age group likes to push their physical limits but tire easily. They are restless and often in a hurry and would benefit from several short breaks throughout the day. They're start of a growth spurt leads to awkward coordination and they often feel worried or anxious.
What are 4th graders or What are 8 and 9 year olds.
This group is trying out different persons and often change their hairstyle or clothes. They're moods change rapidly and are sensitive and quick to anger but also quick to forgive. They are competitive and like to debate. This age group is focused a lot on who is "in" and who is "out".
What are 5th graders or What are 9 and 10 year olds.
Students will be able to determine the purposes of different measuring tools and complete measurements using those tools.
This lesson is designed for students to visit different measuring stations and use measuring tools on various objects. They will create a poster at the end of the activity.
What are 1st graders
Band Aid Tag:
Everyone is 'it', if you get tagged, you must cross one arm, if you get tagged a second time you cross both arms, and if you get tagged a third time you go to the 'hospital' and complete 10 jumping jacks to get back in the game.
All age groups
This age group tend to be impatient but are strong readers. They begin to read independently and need short breaks before becoming frustrated with challenging topics.

This age group is full of energy and enthusiasm. Their gross and fine motor skills are improving but should slow down to focus on throwing and catching coordination. Children in this age group oftern chew on pencils, fingers or other objects.
What are 1st graders or What are 6 and 7 year olds.
This age group can thrive in group work but may prefer working with a best friend that frequently changes. They are deeply imaginative and their peer approval starts to become more important than their teachers. They have strong likes and dislikes and have a growing sense of responsibility.
What are 3rd graders or What are 7 and 8 year olds.
Students will be able to identify the various parts of the digestive system and their functions.
Students will research parts of the digestive system and diseases associated with that part. They will then write a four paragraph essay explaining their findings.
What are 4th graders
Knock Down:
The object of the game is to knock down the opposite teams cones before they knock down all of your teams.
1st - 3rd grade
This group practices math skills through games, and create a large quantity of work at a low quality. They thrive on new opportunities and are able to share about what they are learning.
What are 2nd graders or What are 6 and 7 year olds.
This age group like confined spaces and often work with their head down. This group still uses a pincher like grasp on their pencils and may be sensitive to physical and psychosomatic hurts.
What are 3rd graders or What are 7 and 8 year olds.
This age group love to help and follow rules. They express themselves in a few words but like to have things explained to them. They thrive on encouragement but are extremely sensitive to criticsm. This group can struggle to see other perspectives and can act out with tantrums or complaining.
What are Kindergarteners or What are 5 and 6 year olds.
Students will be able to identify elements of a fictional text.
After reading a story aloud, students will be split into small groups they will use cards and worksheets gain more knowledge about the parts of speech.
What are 2nd graders.
Dance Freeze:
The object of the game is to only dance when the music is playing. When the music stops the players must stop. If a player doesn't freeze right away tehy must preform an exercise before returning.
Kindergarten - 1st grade
This age group love to be challenged but nee support in time management. This is when homework consequences become their responsibility.
What are 5th graders or What are 10 and 11 year olds.
This age group is will ususally pace themsevles while playing and rest before getting exhausted. They gain better control of running and jumping but may fall or slip out of chairs. They are more aware of their fingers as tools.
What are Kindergarteners or What are 5 and 6 year olds.
This age groupare highly competitive but can be poor sports or dishonest. They tend to be loyal to their teachers and have a keen sense of right and wrong. They delight in surprises and enjoy explaining the things they like.
What are 2nd graders or What is 6 and 7 year olds.
Students will collaborate to create a list of instructions for putting together a tent.
Students will solve a design program and practice trouble shooting through hands on exploration.
What are 3rd graders.
Steal the Bacon:
Object of the game is to try and steal a bean bag or other small item and bring it back to their team without getting tagged. Students are numbered into 2-4 teams.
3rd - 6th grade
This age group are comfortable with a busy noise level but need their work to be perfect. Their penmanship is rushed and sloppy and enjoy hands-on exploration.

This age group's musclues are developing and will want lots of snacks. They enjoy precision tasks such as tracing, drawing, and making maps. This group often complains about physical and emotional hurts.
What are 5th graders or What are 9 and 10 year olds.
This age group is very social. Their friend groups start to get larger and can adjust well to change. Their moods and interests change rapidly and can be aloof one minute and goofy the next. This group start to explore inappropriate joes and exaggeration.
What are 4th graders or What is 8 and 9 year olds.
Students will be able to count to 100 by ones.
Students will practice writing numbers, putting them in sequential order and phsycial jump onto the numbers as they count.

Going on a Picnic:
While sitting in a circle, players must say their name and what food they are bringing on the picnic that starts with the same letter of their name.
