The ascension refers to Christ's departure from the earth after His resurrection. He returned to the heavenly places with the Father where He now advocates for us in the presence of his Father and also sends us his Spirit.

How has the Holy Spirit been involved in the creation of the Bible?

The biblical authors were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and even today the Holy Spirit helps Christians understand the word of God as they read it (called "illumination" in theology).
