The time by which staff should arrive at their school site for work every day
WHAT IS 2:15? (No later than 2:30!)
Most schools' dismissal time is around 2:50pm so staff should arrive early enough to set up and discuss the day's plan prior to children arriving.
Times kids must be prompted to wash their hands

WHAT IS their name/relationship to the child, the child's name, and their PIN number?
(THIS MUST BE DONE EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
What must be done if you notice a child has an allergy written on their enrollment form
WHAT IS verify with the parent that it is an actual diagnosed allergy, give the parent a Care Plan to get completed, signed by the child's doctor, and returned to you WITH MEDICATION OR AN EPI PEN, attached Care Plan to child's enrollment form, store medication/epi pen in a secure place, then add the child to your Allergy List?
(If it is just a "sensitivity", Parent #1 has to write THAT on the enrollment form to get out of being required to provide medication/an epi pen. Failure to provide an epi pen or proper medication if needed will result in the child being removed from the program.)
Where staff should enter their school site every day and why
WHAT IS through the Front Office to show your face, sign in (if necessary), and build rapport with the school staff?

WHAT IS text Parent #1 for verification then check to ensure the person's ID matches the name the parent provided and their face matches the picture on the ID? (Sign the child out under the parent's PIN and leave a note on Kid Kiosk with the name of the person who actually picked up.)
(If you can't get in touch with Parent #1 to verify, do NOT release the child to the person! If the person is going to pick up more than once, Parent #1 must write the person's name and number on the enrollment form then sign and date that change.)
What staff should do anytime they step away from the group
WHAT IS communicate where they're going/what they're doing to their coworker? (Just as with the kids, staff should always know where each other are at all times.)

The time by which Site Coordinators should inform their Program Director how many kids are present in their program each day

How kids are properly checked out of the program
WHAT IS by typing in the PIN number of the person who is picking them up on Kid Kiosk? (Each parent/authorized pick up person should have their own PIN number! No one should share a PIN!)
(PIN numbers are automatically generated when an authorized pick up is added to a child's profile on Kid Kiosk.)
One of the most important tasks to complete during the first week of afterschool
WHAT IS collaborate with your kids and coworkers on establishing rules and expectations? (Work together to decide which set of 5 rules and realistic expectations will govern your program AND CONSISTENTLY ENFORCE THEM!)
What must be done if a child is absent
WHAT IS text their Parent #1 on HeyMarket to confirm their absence? (Once confirmed, mark them absent on Kid Kiosk)
Example: Good afternoon! (Child) is absent from the Y today. Can you confirm that he/she is supposed to be absent?
The steps that must be taken when a child has been injured
WHAT IS understand what happened, assess the injury, administer first aid (if necessary), contact your PD to inform her, fill out a YELLOW injury report COMPLETELY, contact parent (if necessary), have Parent sign report upon pick up, put report in Friday Folder?
(If child is severely injured and/or Parent takes child to the doctor or hospital, collaborate with your PD on completing a WHITE licensing report.)
What must be done if a child is still present after the program closes at 6:30pm
WHAT IS contact the child's Parent #1 to inquire about their ETA, contact your PD to inform her, fill out a PURPLE Late Pickup Slip with the late pickup time and dollar amount owed, have the parent sign your copy and give him/her their copy, inform PD when parent arrives, put slip in your Friday Folder?
(At least TWO staff must always be present in the program no matter how few children are there!)
What staff must do as soon as they get to work and as soon as they leave work every day
WHAT IS clock in and out on time?
(Text your PD when you submit a PCR for her to go review it immediately.)
What must be done if a child is present in the program but NOT on the roll sheet
WHAT IS contact Front Desk to ask if the child is good to attend? (If they are good to attend, write their name on the Adds Sheet of the Reconciliation Sheet. If they are NOT good to attend, take them to the school's Front Office immediately.)
Example: Hey, this is (SC) from (school). I have (child) here in my program but he/she is not on my roll sheet or Kid Kiosk. Is he/she good to attend?
What parents may NOT receive in the event that their child receives a Behavior Alert or Injury/Illness Report and why

(Parents may contact your PD if they inquire about further explanation.)
