How are the Saviors teachings changing you?
For me the Saviors teaching change me by helping me become a better person with his gospel and helping me learn more about my own testimony more and building more towards my testimony
4 Nephi 1:3
"And they had all things common among them; therefore there were not rich and poor, bond and free but they were all made free, and partakers of the heavenly gift".
What should be the name of the Church?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
4 Nephi 1:15-16
15 "And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of God which did dwell in the hearts of the people".
16 "And there were no envyings, nor strifes, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness; and surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God".
How do these words help us know who we are, what we believe, and how we should act?
For me these words help us know that we are good people no matter what but when we follow the Saviors words it helps guide us to be the best we can. And what we believe helps us see the more positive side of things that God has created. And it helps us know how we should act by teaching us the ways that help us become that better person for others example.
3 Nephi 27:1-3
1 "And it came to pass that as the disciples of Jesus were journeying and were preaching the things which they had both heard and seen, and were baptizing in the name of Jesus, it came to pass that the disciples were gathered together and were united in mighty prayer and fasting".
2 "And Jesus again showed himself unto them, for they were praying unto the Father in his name; and Jesus came and stood in the midst of them, and said unto them: What will ye that I shall give unto you?"
3 "And they said unto him: Lord, we will that thou wouldst tell us the name whereby we shall call this church; for there are disputations among the people concerning this matter".
What does it mean for the Church—and for you—to be built on His gospel?
My dad said- It builds your testimony of salvation on solid ground/foundation to help you get through hard/though challenges.
Doctrine and Covenants 115:4
"For thus shall my church be called in the last days, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints".
How would you summarize what He said in 3 Nephi 27:13–22?
How I would summarize it is, Jesus Christ defines His gospel and teaches what we must do to stand guiltless before Him and His Father Ask students to think about how they have felt when they have been caught doing something wrong.
