Who selects the Student of the Month?
Your classroom teacher. Your teacher may also ask the students in the class to vote on who deserves to be the Student of the Month.

We will do something new, fun, and different every time I come to your class. Get excited!

How do I get selected for a small group?
Your teacher, your parents, or Mrs. Finch may recommend a certain group for you.

How many times can I fill out a form to talk to Mrs. Finch
You may fill out a form to speak with Mrs. Finch whenever you NEED to. Forms are not there for tattling, rumor spreading, or gossiping.

How will I know when it is my day for my lunch bunch?
There is a schedule of lunch bunch groups posted outside of Mrs. Finch's office and outside of the lunch line in the cafeteria.

If I am selected as the Student of the Month, what happens next?
I get my picture taken and posted on a character award form. The award will hang outside of the cafeteria for all the school to see!

What is the "Exit Survey" that we will get at the end of each lesson?
The exit survey is a way for Mrs. Finch to check and see if you remember the definition and meaning of the Word of the Month."

If I am selected for a small group, what do I need to do first in order to be able to participate?
Have your parents sign the Parent Permission Form that Mrs. Finch sends home with you and then return the form to your teacher or Mrs. Finch.

Do I need to tell my parents that I met with Mrs. Finch?
If you shared important information with Mrs. Finch, I would encourage you to share that information with your parents as well. If you would like me to talk to your parents, I would be happy to do that.

Do I get more than one lunch bunch group?
Mrs. Finch wants to give everyone a chance to have a lunch bunch, so if you have already had a turn, you may have to wait several weeks or longer for your second turn.

What else can I do to become the Student of the Month?
Make sure that every day, you are showing EVERYONE that you are respectful, responsible, caring, a team player, and a hard worker.
