No, that can result in the program filing with DCF.

4 warnings. Upon the 5th warning, a meeting will be held to determine the current placement.

Co-sleeping can lead to SIDS, Co-sleeping can lead to the baby falling off of the bed, and Co-sleeping can lead to suffocation of the child.
What 6 things qualify you for receiving a weekend overnight pass?
Completing 20hr of Day program, attending both parenting groups, passing house inspection, completing Case Management, paying program fees, and returning for all curfews.
When do chores need to be completed by for house inspection?

Are staff supposed to provide rides to residents when they ask for them?
No, staff do not have to provide transportation. Transportation by staff is only available when there is availability and is a necessity.
What are milestones and why are they important?
skills that children typically reach by a certain age as they grow and develop. They are important because they help identify potential developmental delays and allow for early intervention if needed.
Is a safety warning and a 51-A the same thing? why?
No. A safety warning is given out by the program when any of the safety expectations are violated. A 51-A is a report filed with DCF regarding child abuse or neglect.
How many weeks do you get to miss group after giving birth?
The first two weeks of life.
What is Day program and when do you need to have one by?
20 hours a week of work, school or volunteer. YOu need an established Day program within the first two weeks of starting at the YPLP

What is the grievance policy?
The first step is mediation with both parties to try and resolve. If not doable, a formal grievance is written by the resident on the appropriate form and given to the program director. The PD has 2 days to respond to the form. If the resident feels their complaint is not being addressed it can be elevated.
