Just like there are the 7 Deadly Sins, there are also the 7 Heavenly Virtues: Justice (Justita), Prudence (Phronesis), Temperance (Sophrosyne, best explored in Plato's Charmides), Hope (Elpis), Faith (Pistis), Love (Agape), and Fortitude (Andreia). These 7 virtues are represented in this series of monsters.
Guardragon
This card is best known for its role in 2018 Goukis, as insurance against handtraps such as Effect Veiler and Infinite Impermanence.

One of the most iconic monsters in Goat Format, this monster was occaisionally sided in Dragon Rulers because it was a Normal Summon that answered Jowgen the Spiritualist and Evilswarm Ophion.
Tsukuyomi
In the abyss lore, Ecclesia gains a new hammer after leaving the Dogmatika nation. This little guy hitches a ride and gives the hammer its name
Springans Rocky
This flip monster is notable for being one of the few good LIGHT monsters in Goat format, due to its level, effect, and ability to set up the graveyard for later power plays.

This old flip monster has a famous, but rare misprint easily worth over $8,000

Currently unbanned (with a crippling errata), this is one of the few cards, if not the only card, that was forbidden before it was even released in October 2010.
Temple of the Kings
Kanze Motokiyo is regarded as one of the greatest playwrights of traditional Japanese plays called Noh. He is also known by a different name, which is given to this tuner monster.
Noh-P.U.N.K Ze Amin
This monster has the same effect as unerrata'd Dark Magician of Chaos (i.e. On summon, add a Spell from your GY to your hand.) However, due to the difficulty of actually resolving that effect, it never saw any real competitive play.
Endymion, the Master Magician
First appearing in 2012, this TCG-exclusive monster formed part of the Chain Beat strategy alongside Evilswarm Thunderbird, due to its ability to dodge board wiping effects.

1 Level 3 monster with 0 ATK and DEF + 1 level 2 LIGHT Nomi tuner monster
Chaos Core of Chaos
Vision HERO Vyon was the first main deck Vision HERO to come to the TCG. This monster, released in the first Battles of Legend, was the second.
Vision HERO Witch Raider
Previously banned for its role in all manner of FTKs, most notably Exodia, but also one with Exchange of the Spirit, in the OCG, this card actually went from 1 to 2 before getting banned in 2005.
Makyura the Destructor
In Irish mythology, the Irish hero Lugh, father of Cú Chulainn, weilded a "bloodthirsty" spear dubbed Areadbhair. However, in Japan, this spear, and many others like it, were given a different name, a name shared with this iconic Duel Terminal "dragon."
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
Although not a bad card on release, this card was limited for nearly 7 years due to an OCG loop with D.D. Borderline
The Transmigration Prophecy
This monster was a viable side deck card in old-school Yu-Gi-Oh because it could theoretically one-shot an opponent with a very large Fusion Deck.

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning of the End
Every HERO Fusion monster is either a Warrior or Fiend, except for these two.
Although legal in the TCG and OCG during their respective Tele-DAD formats, the OCG also had this spell card alongside Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, which meant free plusses with Mezuki and Plaguespreader Zombie.
