Blurting - is when we talk out of turn, or say something without using our social filter. You are walking in the hallway and someone holds the door open for you. You continue talking to your friend and do not say anything at all.
Attitude. When someone holds the door open for you, the expected behavior is to say "Thank you". To show appreciation for someone thinking of you.
Your in class and someone you keeps tapping their pencil behind you, which is really annoying you. You feel the urge to turn around and yell at them. How can you control your impulse to not react in frustration? What can you say or do that shows good self control?
Ask them politely to stop tapping there pencil. Ask to move your seat. Use headphones or earbuds to block out the noise.

Your teacher hands you a series of 15 math word problems, you complete it and hand it in. Your teacher summons you to his desk after you complete it and says, “You did a pretty good job, you got most of the answers correct. You only got 3 wrong. I want you to go back and try those 3 problems again. I circled the words you need to focus on so you know if it is an addition or subtraction problem. You respond, “ God, why do you always do this to me. I am not doing this again, bruh!”
Attitude. Your teacher is trying to help you learn. He circled the words in the problem and gave you a compliment. You can say,

In class, I see that another student has left his earbuds in the pocket of his hoody. He left his hoody on his chair, when he left the classroom to go to the bathroom I accidentally left my earbuds at home, and I can only listen to music on my phone or iPad during class break time if I have my earbuds, so I don't distract others in the room. I really want to listen to my music. What should I do? Take it or Leave it
Leave it. This is not your personal property. You need to ask permission to ask someone else to use their earbuds.
