•Yes. If a patient is a wellness patient (bisexual male, transgender female, MSM), and are getting tested under wellness, and have tested positive for HepC, SHC, and/or HIV, the wellness grant will cover their bloodwork and testing services. If they do have insurance, you can charge their insurance for the lab visit.

If a patient is a POWER patient (18-45 AA or Hispanic heterosexual male or female), and are getting tested under POWER, uninsured, and have tested positive for HepC and/or SHC, the POWER grant will NOT cover their bloodwork, ONLY their testing services. The patient will have to do the Medicaid application, SFS, pay full price for visit or wait til their results come back.
What do you need to do during downtime in clinic?
Work on Whitfield staff box, clean rooms, take lunch, organize, file, etc.

What is the Anonymous Testing Patient Protocol?
•Alias Name, Needs to document in their chart that they would like to be anonymous. They do not receive a p-form, they only need to provide number and DOB. Rapids only and verbal results given. If they want C/G, it is basically no longer anonymous testing; their information will have to be sent to state for analysis and resulting. If process changes, will notify you of them.
Two-Part Question: If a patient comes off the street with their positive STI test results, who will see them for tx? If a patient comes off the street and just wants to see a provider for non-STI related issues, what happens?
Merissa will see them. They do not have to be established *Only applies to STI Testing TX patients. If a patient comes off the street for non-STI related issues, they will need to schedule an appt to be seen. (ex. Broke toe, need to get a Pap smear)
What is the minimum test that a POWER patient can get?
Anyone that is testing under POWER, needs to get at minimum a HIV test done; they can not just get C/G testing under POWER
