Contains appendix, right ovary, right ureter.

Divides the body into superior and inferior halves.
What is the transverse or horizontal plane?
Nearer to the head.
What is cephalic?
Surrounds the lungs.
What is pleural cavity?
Divides the body into unequal left and right halves.
What is the parasagittal plane?
Close to the point of attachment.
What is proximal?
Divided into abdominal and pelvic cavities.
What is upper left quadrant?
Divides the body at an angle.
What is the oblique plane?
Further from the point of attachment.
What is distal?
Contains spinal cord.
What is spinal cavity?
Contains sigmoid colon, left ovary, left ureter.
