Every teenager can choose to be in a healthy relationship and can leave an abusive relationship at any time. Abuse can be emotional, physical, sexual, or financial. An abusive relationship may or may not involve all of these types of abuse. A person who is abused in a dating relationship is never responsible for the abuse. People who are abused are entitled to legal protection, while abusers are subject to serious legal consequences.
