Existing patients who have hearing aids that are less than 3 years old needing any type of hearing aid service and when the HCP determines that the need for an audiogram is indicated.
What is an ANN_HAC
Use when the appointment time is needed only for the HCP to perform cerumen management. Service provided must be within the scope of practice for the HCP’s license.
CER_MAN
Use for the evaluation of existing patients who have owned their current hearing aids for 3 or more years. - This appointment can be scheduled at 6-month intervals.
3+HAE
Use when the appointment time is needed only for the HCP to take ear impressions.
EAR_IMP
All hearing aid adjustments within 60 days of the initial dispensing of new hearing aids purchased directly through a TPRN program. - The first Fine-Tune appointment must be scheduled within two weeks following the dispense. - A second Fine-Tune appointment is only required for TPRN patients if their signature needs to be collected in-person on the TPRN’s documentation at the end of their satisfaction period.
