What is the bathroom policy for the nursery hallway bathrooms?

If a child needs assistance in the restroom: the #1 rule is that the child must not be alone with a volunteer. The volunteer can step in to assist IF ANOTHER ADULT FEMALE stands by and holds the door: being able to view both the classroom and the restroom.

Small groups: What is the candy distribution (strongly suggested) procedure?

Candy is given BY THE GROUP LEADER ONLY for these things: When they bring their Bible, when they win Bible battle, and when they answer questions correctly.

What is a special buddy?

For a child who enters that may have special needs, we can provide a special buddy to give 1:1 attention for the entire duration of the service. They assist with snacks if needed, explanation of the lesson, and constant attention and care.

What is the procedure for incident reports?

1. Inform & involve your team lead 

2. Fill out the "incident report" form & hand it to your team lead

The team lead will then communicate to the parent what happened and next steps if necessary

What is the check-out flow?

One volunteer at each door. Entry door volunteer welcomes them in and explains the pick-up process if questions present themselves. Volunteer at the exit door takes stickers and says goodbye! 

One adult female volunteer must be present at all times when kids are in the theater!
